Sometimes I stop, and just appreciate the moment ...the wind blowing, the sun shining, the children laughing...unknowingly at first, creating a bookmark in my life...
And I wonder if when years later, I remember those warm moments, those fuzzy feelings travel through time and are the reason I stopped to appreciate the moment in the first place.
And the more bookmarks I leave, the more I find later...and I get to revisit those moments.
It may be the opposite of post traumatic stress, which is a sort of time-travel of it's own.
It's post-joyful gratitude.
Yes, I can confirm, the drawings from my own memory bank. Your open heart thought of the day is wonderful, and so well said. Balance of spirit. I made soooo many of those frozen in time moments.....like Yentl said...."this is one of those moments" or more eloquently as you said; "book marks" and "time travel of its own"

Delete<3 I love this so very much :-D
ReplyDeleteI've had similar thoughts considering how we have such a wealth of joyful childhood memories, and what that does for our systems, compared with friends I know whose memories trend more often to stress re-coping.
I have so much gratitude for the joy you brought to me, to our home, that you've emanated since you were born <3
💜and to you as well seester!
